Y25 FIRESTORM

The Firestorm is a killer freerace machine with a pure blooded slalom DNA. You’ll easily find a perfect trim over any type of water surface to allow you being on the tip of your top speed potential at all times.
With its parallel lines in the mid/front section, smaller cut-outs and dedicated wingered/toro tail, the Firestorm results more controllable and easy to jibe than a slalom board and consequently excels with both freerace and cam race sails.

The Firemove is known for its plug and play and superior feel from the first time you try it; early planing, acceleration, maneuverability and a lightweight feel over the water. Once you step on it you’ll instantly feel confident and will never get tired of this magic board. The rails of the Firemove have been thinned down, up to the point of being thinner than a Hardcore wave shape, a real boost for maneuverability and foot steering ease. This year we added 2 new shapes to the line, the 135 and 155 lts in order to expand the range and meet heavier sailors needs.

The Hardcore Wave is our pure wave board. Designed to excel in proper wave conditions when you need excellent turning characteristics and control just like a surf board.
This shape lets you ride critical sections of the wave with incredibile ease. Inspired by the boards shaped for Alex Mussolini, each HCW size will make your session or trip an unforgettable one. It comes with a thuster fin setup and 5 fin boxes to switch to a quad configuration.

Exclusively fitted with the latest developed K4 high performance fins. K4 fins are unique to windsurfing as they are made using a high grade composite engineering polymer with a maximum fill of long strand fibres. The SCORCHER and the SHARK 2 are the latest developed K4 center and side fins. They perform exceptionally in terms of flex, reflex and resilience to damage. Compared to standard G-10 fins these fins are lighter and have a superior reflex memory.

2021 ICON

The 2021 Icon is defined by its ease of handling utilizing a powerful and direct riding feel. The five batten panel layout gives you complete command in all situations and the confidence to push hard. With five battens to keep the sail draft in forward locked position, the sail works equally well for high-wind jumping environments to powering driving turns in challenging onshore conditions and all wind angles in between. Adaptability is Icon’s signature trait and a big reason it is been so popular for well over a decade. The Icon also provides the ultimate level of stability, in any wind range. This superb stability also means that the Icon is less physically demanding for the rider to use compared to the Blacktip, providing the rider with an absolute focus on maneuvers and going really fast with full control at all times.

Technical solutions on the 2021 Icon include a large monofilm window for superb visibility. The new panel layout features a light-weight Q-Ply in the luff panel, combined with a vertical kevlar load line from top to tack. This helps to control the profile as well as the longevity of the materials, hence a light-weight sail that will stay intact for many seasons to come. The -21 design features a lowered center of effort and a more forward-focused shape, combined with an improved luff curve in the upper quarter of the sail, that allows for a lower breaking point of the twist. A compact outline and medium to low aspect ratio provide a powerful front-end drive to generate speed in turns and high-end control in high-wind jumps.
